Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) is a water treatment chemical. TCCA is known as a chlorine-based disinfectant that kills pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and algae. With its powerful disinfectant effect, TCCA is widely used for water treatment (clearing industrial wastewater), swimming pools, hospitals, food equipment, and the paper and textile manufacturing industry (bleaching).
TCCA is imported directly from China and offers many advantages over other chlorine bleaches. It does not cause sediment, is more economical, and its chlorine content does not easily disappear even when exposed to sunlight.
